    Detailed Itinerary for the Safari

Day 1: Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park
We shall pick you up at your accommodation in Kampala at 7:00 am so you need to have a very early morning breakfast. Lunch will be arranged en route.
The shortest route (656 km) takes you from Kampala-Soroti -Kotido via Amuria; a 7-9 hour drive to the far North-East where Uganda borders Kenya and Southern Sudan. You will automatically enjoy an en route game drive and while resting at your camp later in the evening you will already be close to some of the park animals and birds.
Dinner and overnight at Apoka Rest Camp.

    Day 2: Game Viewing
After an early morning breakfast, you embark on a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals and birds can be seen roaming around including the fast running Ostrich. You will later return to the camp for lunch.
An Afternoon Game Drive will take you through the Narus Valley to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and hopefully some lions, leopard and the elusive cheetah. The slow drive will enable you to be in full sight of varieties of birds as well. You have the freedom to stop whenever you desire to take pictures of the fabulous wildlife and birds, fauna and flora along the way. Return to the Camp for dinner to the sights and sounds of an African night in Kidepo Valley Park.

    Day 3:
Arise to a fabulous breakfast and a cup of coffee or tea while you peruse the landscape and wildlife around you in the remotest corner of Uganda and yet it is a splendid destination – an adventure destination that has been discovered by a lucky few. This is an ideal African dream vacation. Take an early morning guided nature walk to see varieties of avifauna and fauna and the less dangerous wild game.
In the mid-morning take another exciting game drive across savannah, hills, small forests, dry river beds and rings of mountains around you. Animals and birds to observe, plants and trees that will amaze you as they exist in this semi-arid region of Uganda. The drive offers you views of this fabulous, remote park for its wildlife, its many birds and simply enjoying the experience of viewing animals so close to the vehicle. It is surely a most breath taking experience.
You will then retire to your camp for lunch and a brief relaxation.
An evening cultural tour in the Karimajong community: You will spend a wonderful evening with Karamajong people to have an insight of their way of life and beliefs. You will understand, by the end of the tour, why their pride makes them slow to adapt to the dynamic world. Their love for cattle is comparable to the better known Maasai of Kenya and Tanzania. Their ways are unique to them and they are a proud warrior like people who believe that, it is their God given right to cattle, even cattle belonging to others. You will see how they live, how they prepare food, dance, enjoy life and what their cattle means to them.

Day 4: Travel back to Kampala.
